Arlington Heights Wedding Videographer
Arlington Heights has something a lot of suburbs don't: a real downtown. A theater, restaurants with actual character, streets you'll want to walk down. Couples who marry here get the best of both worlds — a charming, rooted community feel with venues that range from sleek modern ballrooms to storybook country clubs. As a wedding videographer in Arlington Heights, we get to film in all of it, and honestly, the variety keeps us sharp.
We've filmed up and down the northwest suburbs for over a decade, and Arlington Heights weddings have a particular warmth to them. Maybe it's the hometown feel, or the way the whole downtown seems to celebrate with you. Whatever it is, it comes through on camera — and capturing that feeling is exactly what we do.
Why couples love getting married in Arlington Heights
This is one of the northwest suburbs' most complete communities: a genuine downtown with dining and a theater scene, Metra access for city guests, and wedding venues that cover every style. Want a contemporary ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows and a veranda? Got it. A grand all-inclusive ballroom with a double staircase? Got it. A Scottish-castle-inspired clubhouse wrapped in ivy? Somehow, got that too.
For couples with roots in the northwest suburbs, Arlington Heights often feels like home — which means your guest list is full of people who are genuinely invested in your day. That energy matters. Some of the most emotional footage we've ever captured came from weddings where the whole room felt like family. And with Chicago just a Metra ride away, it's easy for everyone to get here and celebrate.
Beautiful Arlington Heights wedding venues
Metropolis Ballroom — A contemporary downtown ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood floors, exposed beams, a veranda patio, and full scratch-kitchen catering for up to 425 guests. The natural light from those windows is a gift — daytime events here practically glow on camera. The veranda is perfect for golden-hour portraits without leaving the venue.
The Seville (Streamwood) — A grand all-inclusive ballroom just minutes away, with 25-foot ceilings, a double staircase, glittering chandeliers, and white-glove packages for up to 850 guests. That double staircase is made for a bridal party entrance — we've filmed them, and they never get old.
Chez Hotel — A chic, newly refurbished hotel with an elegant ballroom and a rooftop bar for cocktail hours — modern glamor in the heart of the suburbs. Rooftop cocktail hour footage is some of our favorite: relaxed, golden, everybody happy with a drink in hand. Then you head downstairs to a polished ballroom for the reception. Two distinct looks, one venue, one great film.
Makray Memorial Golf Club (Barrington) — A Scottish-castle-inspired clubhouse with ivy-covered stone walls and arched doorways, set on a fairytale golf course. Ceremony footage here has a romantic, old-world quality that's hard to find this close to Chicago, and the grounds give us endless options for portrait sessions.
Old Orchard Country Club (Mount Prospect) — A classic country-club venue in a golf-course setting, hosting 200–250 guests. Country clubs do tradition well: manicured grounds, elegant interiors, and a timeline that flows. On video, the combination of outdoor ceremony space and classic clubhouse interiors gives your film a timeless, polished feel.
Why couples book I Do Video
I Do Video began in 2012 as Leo's hobby. Thirteen-plus years later, it's still driven by the same thing: a genuine love of filming weddings. Leo also has a full-time career in digital marketing, which is the honest reason our pricing is what it is — he doesn't depend on videography income, so packages are built around your budget instead of around our bottom line. Custom packages, real discounts (military, referrals, Fridays, seasonal, friends and family) — "No One Pays Full Price" is our actual policy. See pricing, compare packages, get a quote.
Our team is small and hand-picked — videographers who share Leo's passion and talent — and Leo films many weddings himself. Our signature approach: multi-camera coverage where it counts. During your ceremony, speeches, and first dance, Leo works like three videographers, running multiple angles at once so the vows, the reactions, and the dance floor all get captured. Editing is full-service and always included: a 5–7 minute highlight video, your full-length film, and a 30–60 second teaser for Instagram. Raw footage available on request; drone coverage available when weather and safety allow; engagement and save-the-date videos too.
Multiple consecutive WeddingWire Couples' Choice Awards, rated in the top 5% of Chicago videographers — nice to have, but our wedding videos and couple reviews tell the real story. "Work Hard — Have Fun — Make a Difference" isn't just a motto; it's how we work.
Travel within Chicagoland is included — no travel fees for Arlington Heights weddings.
Frequently asked questions
How far out do Arlington Heights couples usually book? Peak-season Saturdays (May–October) typically book 8–12 months ahead, especially at popular spots like Metropolis. But we've filmed plenty of weddings booked on shorter timelines — if your date is open, we're in. The best move is to request a quote as soon as your venue is set.
Can we get just the raw footage, without the edited highlight? You can absolutely get the raw footage — it's available with our packages. But we'd gently encourage the highlight film too: it's the 5–7 minute cut you'll actually rewatch and share, and full-service editing is included in every package. Most couples tell us the highlight becomes their most-watched video. That said, it's your day and your call.
Do you offer engagement or save-the-date videos? Yes! These are some of our favorite projects — relaxed, creative shoots without wedding-day timelines. Many Arlington Heights couples shoot theirs downtown or at the venue grounds, and the footage doubles beautifully as content for invitations and your wedding website. Ask about adding one to your package.
Will you be discreet during our ceremony? This is one of the things couples thank us for most. We're experienced at being essentially invisible during ceremonies — no blocking the photographer's shots, no distracting movement, no bright equipment in your guests' sightlines. You'll see us in the highlight film's behind-the-scenes moments; your guests won't remember we were there. Read what couples say.
