Batavia Wedding Videographer
I'm Leo, and I've filmed weddings across Chicagoland for over a decade. Batavia is one of the oldest towns in Kane County — a Fox River city of brick downtown streets, windmills, and riverwalk views that give a wedding day real character without any fuss.
Why Batavia weddings film beautifully
The river does a lot of the work here. You get water, woods, and historic brick in a few short blocks — and golden hour on the Riverwalk is hard to beat.
- Revelry 675 — a modern riverfront venue on South River Street, just south of downtown. A bright 5,000-square-foot reception room, a patio and lawn rolling down to the Fox River, and outdoor ceremonies for up to 300 guests.
- Lincoln Inn Banquets — Batavia's classic banquet hall on Batavia Avenue. A warm, traditional ballroom that films clean and timeless, with room for a big, joyful dance floor.
- The Wilds at Red Oak — a sleek, modern space tucked into the woods at Red Oak Nature Center on North River Road. Panoramic windows, 40 acres of woodland, a patio and fireplace — nature is the backdrop for ceremonies of 50–130 guests.
- Shannon Hall — the historic hall at the Eastside Community Center on North Van Buren Street, right by the Riverwalk. Vintage character downtown, perfect for intimate ceremonies and receptions with a hometown feel.
- Enticing Cuisine — a beloved Batavia banquet spot on North Washington Avenue for up to 200 guests. Known for its food, with an outdoor ceremony area and gazebo that look great on film.

Batavia wedding videography FAQs
Do you film at Revelry 675 and The Wilds at Red Oak? Yes — both are Batavia favorites, from Revelry's riverfront lawn and patio to The Wilds' woodland windows and outdoor ceremonies.
Is Batavia easy for guests to reach? Yes. It's about 35 miles west of downtown Chicago, off I-88 and Route 31, with hotels in nearby Geneva, St. Charles, and Naperville.
Can we do portraits on the Riverwalk or downtown? Absolutely — the Batavia Riverwalk, the Depot Museum area, and downtown's brick storefronts and windmills give you classic Batavia portraits minutes from most venues.
How far in advance should we book? As soon as your venue is set. Popular Saturdays in the Fox Valley book 12–18 months out, especially May through October.
