WeddingWire Couples Choice Award | I Do Video by Leo

The WeddingWire Couples' Choice Awards® recognizes the top five percent of local wedding professionals from the WeddingWire Network who demonstrate excellence in quality, service, responsiveness and professionalism. Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the organization, winners of the WeddingWire Couples' Choice Awards® are determined by recent reviews from over a million WeddingWire newlyweds.

Unlike other awards in the wedding industry, the WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Awards® are solely based on reviews from real newlyweds and their experiences working with their wedding professionals. Our annual awards program recognizes the top five percent of wedding professionals who demonstrate excellence in quality, service, responsiveness and professionalism.

Our Couples’ Choice Awards winners are chosen solely based on the quality, quantity, consistency, and recency of the wedding reviews each professional received from consumers through the 2015 calendar year. Our program is meant to serve as an indicator of legitimacy and reliability for engaged couples when selecting their team of wedding professionals.

Capturing Your Wedding Day from Afar

It is our goal as wedding videographers to capture your wedding day, while not being apart of your wedding day. We understand that your wedding is an intimate occasion with your closest friends and family, and we do our best to capture that while not interrupting. Our video and sound equipment make this very possible.

A zoom camera lens is very capable of capturing moments from across the room without the need to be in the middle of it. This can be very useful throughout the day, including preparations, first look, ceremony, speeches, first dances and open dance floor.

All cameras are very good in low-light. So while at times, like speeches when an external LED light may be needed, the majority of coverage throughout the day and even evening, will call for little to no external constant lighting.

Sound is another key factor that can be captured from afar. External recording devices are used on the groom in order to record the intimate moments during ceremony, including the vows and ring exchange. During speeches, these devices are generally able to connect right to DJ booth in order to capture all of those best man jokes, direct from the microphone.

One of the most common comments I receive from customers is the fact that we capture so much, without the bride and groom even realizing it. So on your wedding day, you can be assured your videographer will be at all the right places in order to capture all those natural moments that make your wedding video something to remember!

4 Reasons to Get a Wedding Videographer

A lot of couple teeter on the idea of getting a video for a wedding. Whether it’s a question of budget, need or desire, some newlyweds let the day go by without wedding videography. Don’t let this happen to you.

Check out some reasons we believe that a wedding video is a must have!

  1. Once in a Lifetime Celebration: You spend months, sometimes years planning your wedding. You have every detail picked out from the menu to the venue, colors, songs, guests…. the list is endless! This perfectly planned should not only last a day! You should have the opportunity to relive this day, over and over and over again! Don’t let it pass in the blink of an eye without the opportunity to experience it all over again! The funny moments, sad moments and even the moments that you may have missed is all yours, with a wedding video!

  2. See What you may Have Missed: So many people, so little time! It’s impossible to celebrate your wedding day with every one of your guests. You’re lucky if you are able to say hi or exchange a hug with each guest. But the truth is, they are celebrating your big day, whether you are with them or not! This day is all about you, and a wedding video will be able to show you how each of your guests celebrated, cried, danced when you weren’t there to see it! With multiple cameras, our wedding videographers can cover multiple angles, during the ceremony, first dances, speeches and more, so all the important moments are captured!

  3. Sound:If pictures say a thousand words, how many can a video say? Wedding photography is a crucial part of a wedding day…. and so is a video! While pictures are amazing, they don’t certain parts of your wedding justice. All newlyweds should be able to re-watch and re-listen to those sacred vows that make you husband and wife! Your maid-of-honor and best man spend weeks preparing their big speech. A wedding video, captures every word of that.

  4. Share with Friends and Family: As much as you’d like, not everyone is going to be able to attend your wedding. We’d like to have all out friends, distant relatives, co-workers, and more be there but we can’t! That doesn’t mean that can’t watch it! Email, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat…. The list goes on and on of places where you can share your beautifully edited wedding video so everyone can take part in the celebration, over and over, whether they were there or not! Don’t you want your kids to be able to watch the day their parents got married! We can make that happen!

The reasons are never-ending! So if you are unsure if a wedding video is a good fit for you or within your budget, let’s talk and let I Do Video help answer those questions for you! Don’t let your day go by without considering a local wedding videographer.

Bridal Preps: A Necessary Part of Any Wedding Video

Wedding guests may think of that the day begins with the bride and groom walking down the aisle but those that are involved in the wedding realize the day starts much earlier. From the first dab of makeup to the final button on the wedding dress, a lot goes into preparing for the big day. Covering these moments are essential to remember all those special details that make your wedding video a true reflection on such a special day! This is exactly what our wedding videography team will do.

Pre-Wedding Video Coverage

During the pre-ceremony coverage your wedding videographer will capture all the moments leading up to the “I Do’s.” This will include, getting shots of your dress, accessories, rings and all those essential items that play such an integral part in your big day as well as the video for the wedding. The final applications of makeup, followed by mimosas with your bridesmaids add memorable moments to your wedding video.

Then of course, there’s the dress! As a wedding videographer, I’ve quickly learned how much time and effort it takes to not only pick the right dress but make it a perfect for fit. That’s why, when recording a wedding day, we will always capture every detail of your dress, before you even step into it. When it comes time to put it on, your videographer will be right there as you share that special moment with your maid of honor, your mother, and whoever who else you have tie that final bow.

Groomsmen Video Coverage

Though the guys have it easy, covering their preparation can also be arranged. While the groomsmen preps may consist more of packing the cooler and watching a football game, the ambiance of the morning and special moments are a great start to any wedding video.

What Time Should our Videographer Start?

While every wedding is different, we generally suggest around an hour (up to 2 hrs) of video coverage before the bride plans on putting on the dress. This will give us plenty of time capture video of all the above moments to show all your guests exactly what your wedding day consists of!
